A THANKSGIVING PRAYER FOR WORLD PEACE

"Give thanks in everything, for this is God's Will for you in Christ Jesus"

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Dear Heavenly Father

May we always show you that we are thankful to You in all things, 

By embracing the Will, hopes and dreams

Of your perfect and loving Son,

Who truly is our personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

By showing all others that we are your loyal and obedient disciples,

By living a life of total forgiveness,

By showing others unconditional love and grace, 

May we always follow in His footsteps,

When He left His entire flock to find one lost sheep,

May we always remember what He said;

"We were worth it!"

May we always be a blessing to all others

May we respect and honor

All Law Enforcement and Firemen

May God bless and protect them,

May He keep their hearts and desires true

As they protect and serve every thing that we hold dear and sacred

May we never take our freedom for granted as we remember all the brave Service Men and Women who have sacrificed themselves and their lives so that we can spend another day holding those who are close to our hearts this Holiday.

May God protect our soldiers 

That no harm and no weapon may prosper against them

May you bring them safely home

To loved ones and a career 

May the world bond with the unity of one mind, body and spirit

With one voice and one heart

Shouting from every roof and mountain top

That we are all God's children

Worthy of mercy, love and forgivness

That the answer to lasting world peace

Has always been

And always will be...

"Doing it God's Way!"
