 "You must also be truly comfortable with your unique past, you cannot successfully deal with everything that God wants you to do, until you can successfully deal with God on everything that you have been uniquely through!"

God knows when there is no adversity or sufferings in our lives, and things are going our way, that we will rarely advanced forward in our faith walk with Him, God knows that most of us will only seek him when something happens in our lives that affects us personally, like a major calamity or a catastrophe. 

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivered him out of them all."  Psalm 34:19

There are many variables and circumstances that bring us to seek God in a more personal relationship, like a troubled marriage that is headed for divorce, accumulation of financial problems or suffering rejection because of being unforgiving, etc...    

Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later." Romans 8:18

When the Spirit of God asked me to write about my unique past and to tell others what God has done for me. At first, just the thought of this was just too much for me to bear.

How I came to write my book

Then I started to realize that...

"Our purpose and our lives are never just about us, it's about the blessings and the memories that we make for others by giving others hope and help increase their faith in God.

When my heart truly understood that it's all about glorifying God in everything that we say and do, that it is our purpose to share with others that He will never leave or forsake them.

When I started to think of others who are overwhelmed with grief and sorrow, who are hurting deeply right now, my heart started to break inside, sheding endless tears not just for the parents who are going through a difficult divorce, but also the children.

or the drug addict who can't kick the habit alone,

or the kids in school who just want to be liked and accepted just like everyone else,

or the person in jail serving time because of either being falsely accused or from making bad choices,

Than I think of what my Lord and Savior did for me, how He left His entire flock just to go out into the cold dark world and find me when I was lost and shivering, trying to keep it together, not knowing who to turn to.

He not only searched and found me at the very lowest moments of my life,

He literally picked me up and gave me hope,

dusted the fear and doubt off of me,

Looked me straight in the eyes as He smiled,

and said to me,

I told you that I would not leave you or forsake you,

Now go out into the world and tell others to keep the faith and to not lose hope in me.

God is not trying to punish us or kill us when He allows these fires of adversities to happen to us in our lives. He's proving that again and again from the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. He allows adversity to happen so that He can shape us like clay for His greater good. It is from these "fires of adversity" that as we go through them, that God brings us to a place where we have to make a choice in our lives that define who we really are in our faith walk with Him.  He will know us by our heart.We can choose to trust God by our faith in Him by rising above the ashes and fires of ouradversity that is in our lives right now, and learn from the experience that God will always be there for us if we do things His way. And we can praise God for giving us a much deeper spiritual meaning in our faith walk with Him, and for sharing with us His divine purpose in our lives.

"These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure, It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it-and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory on the day of his return." 1 Peter 1:7

Or we can make our enemy Satan happy and refuse to grow from this as a positive learning experience. And we can proudly and defiantly refuse to rise up from the burning ashes of our own fires of adversity. And we can just sit there and smolder and become bitter and enraged, filled with evil thoughts, evil speaking, claymore and malice and murder. Never recognizing or accepting our true purpose that God had intended for us. We all have a choice to either glorify God or to blame God when bad things happen. God will never tempt us but he will test our faith to see if it is weak or if it is strong from being through the fires of adversity that are in our lives.
