I asked God to give me a Sign that He wanted me to finish my book now or later?

"Was this a Silly Coincidence or a Divine Sign To Finish My Book?"

"And tell him, Blessed is the one who does not lose his faith in me." Luke 7:23

On Wednesday August 1, 2007, Due to my very busy schedule, I started to get frantic that I was not finishing the very last chapter of my book like I wanted. Besides working a minumum of 9 hours at my other work place, and the time I spent putting up a new message on my Internet Ministry, including creating a PDF backup of my work and then spending a little quality time with my family.

So I turned my eyes to God and I asked Him, "I have been so busy and I don't have as much time as I need to finish the last part of my book. Please give me a sign to let me know if you want me to wait for now or that you want me to go ahead with my writing project that glorifies You!"

With unwaivering faith I waited, and on the third day after I asked God to show me a sign.

Saturday August 4, 2007 

I walked out of a supermarket in West Covina, California and I could not help but look up towards the sky, the heavens looked like they opened up and I thought to myself, If our Lord and Savior was coming back today, it would be through these magnificent heavenly looking clouds and I thanked God for such a glorious sight, I only wish that my little camera could have captured this moment like I saw it.

You see I saw something that did not appear on my camera. I saw a second layer of majestic clouds that rested on top of the clouds that I caught on camera, and this top layer sat farther back, but just for a moment, I wondered if the second coming of our Lord and Savior would look like this. It appeared to be much smaller clouds like dust, much like a army of warriors would kick up from the ground while riding their horses into battle. Remember how our Lord Jesus said that He will return, in the same way that He left us. How did He leave us? He left into the clouds.

Parents who were in the parking lot next to where we parked were taking their children out of their vehicles and showing them this breath taking sight. People who were walking towards the supermarket who saw me taking pictures said to me what a most beautiful sight.

I wanted to rush home to have my daughter to see this, since we were less than ten minutes away, but it only lasted for about five minutes and then it was gone.

Even the sun was bright red, another breath taking sight.

When I woke up the very next morning, as God as my witness, the flower bush in our back yard which had only a single flower for weeks had suddenly blossumed into over forty full bloomed white flowers.

I had to show this to my wife Lesa and my daughter Amanda since it was a miracle from above. This flower bush stands directly in front of our kitchen sink and is always in full view of  us and we have always seen just one single flower on it which had been in full bloom for weeks. What made this so amazing to us is, we never saw any little white flowers on the bush where they finally bloomed into full size flowers. We saw this bush go from one flower to over 40 flowers over night.

Then the very next day, the person that I was in partnership with almost a year and a half had owed me for a project that I had invested hundreds of hours in.  The bottom line, with just weeks away from being paid over $25,000.00 as our signed contract says. I find myself having to set up a meeting with our attorney to insure the integrity of our agreement. Which means I now have more free time available to finish my first project for God.

Now back to my story,

Finally It was evening and I was at home sitting in the quietness of my office comteplating on how things went the last few days in relation to what direction that God wanted me to go.

What I'm about to say is very important to me in sharing with you on being continually blessed.

You have to have the faith of a child and believe in the signs and wonders that are going on in your life are from God. God says that it is impossible to please Him without faith.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 1:6

You can connect the dots like I do to see how all this comes together to bring a miracle and blessing into your life.

But don't try and analize a blessing in your life and reason that it was all a big coincidence, and never let someone tell you there must be some scientific explanation for it. The only thing you need to know to honor God is to acknowledge that all good things come from heaven above and to thank Him for it.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above." James 1:17       

Before I share with you my thoughts if everything that has happened to me and my family for the last three days could have been just a silly coincidence or to give God all the glory, lets see if we can find the answer in the scripture below. 

"Everything comes from God alone, Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory." Romans 11:36 LB

If nothing ever happened in my life like except the last three days after I had asked God for a sign, I would believe that He was real and I would follow Him the rest of the days of my life.

But this is the part that drops me to my knees with a tear filled face thanking Him for never leaving me or forsaking me one time in my life, God has shown me again and again that He is real. When we listen to the still quiet voice of the Holy Spirit that speaks to each one of us, we will find that God will speak to each one of us in a certain way that reveals His Will for us where somebody else may not understand or comprehend.

The first sign from the heavens told me that God is with me, the second sign of the flowers finishing their supernatural task of blooming over night all at once told me to start finishing my writing project at once, and the third sign by leaving a man who did not honor his agreement is allowing me to have more hours, told me God just freed up my time, so I can only say, "Praise you Heavenly Father in the Name of your Son Jesus and for your Holy Spirit to help guide me and direct me."

If God is blessing you or someone else in your life right now, don't come up with explanations or reasons why it was just luck or a coincidence.

Always thank God and always give Him all the glory and He will move Heaven and earth just to get close enough to you to tell you that He will never leave you or forsake you.

He loves you that much!

Remember, God wasn't just showing me a sign that He wants me to continual my work. I asked my neighbor who was playing out in the street with his son if he saw the clouds just a few minutes ago and he said he did not. Who ever saw the sign knew what God was saying to them for what ever is going on in their own life. My neighbor or anyone else may see a different sign from God in many different forms in their lives that they may recognize that I may not. The most important thing is to give Him the glory and to be ready, because one day our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is going to come through those heavenly clouds and every knee shall bow and we will all see why His name Jesus is above all other names!
