Even thou God has blessed me from never have to spend a day in jail or prison convicted of a crime. I know what it's like 30 years ago to spend time in a holding cell. And the millions who have been there will all agree with me that one hour without your freedom will seem like a life time. And to all the young people out there, I have a special chapter on dealing with the choices and the mistakes we make. Even though at the time you think your doing the right thing. And I have made my share and I have learned from them. I know I can help you from making the same mistakes. 

"They say a wise man will learn from his mistakes, but the wisest man will learn from the mistakes of others." May the choice's you make, make you the wisest of both men and women. Even thou God has never left me nor forsaken me one time. God expects us to make a check list on making the right choices in our journey in our life. (which is in my chapter) and if you don't make a check list just like I diden't years ago. Then you are setting yourself up to discover the painful truth and meaning in the phrase "No good deed goes unpunished"

And that's why my heart goes out to what God did for Joseph who was falsely accused and thrown in prison for over 10 years.  He turned Joseph's "Fire of adversity" from being the lowest moments of his life and blessed Joseph from this and elevated him to the second most important man in Egypt. I always talk about "Attitude of Gratitude" in receiving blessings. Joseph went through many low moments in his life and instead of complaining, he accepted his purpose in his life to glorify God and was truly blessed for it. Genesis 39: 17-20
