Be blessed
Doing
it God's
Way!
With Reverend Michael

Once we
understand this simple truth
"Once we understand
this simple truth, then we start to ask ourselves one
of life's most important questions when a problem
arises, do we choose to turn to God when a problem first
arises, or do we try and handle it ourselves our way or do we even
turn to others instead. And then only turn to God as our last line
of defense when we can no longer handle the problem by
ourselves.
It's not a matter of "if" we are going to turn to
God in times of trouble, the question is a matter of "when." Do we
turn to Him daily before we have these problems or do we wait
until everything hits the fan and everything is totally out of
control.
"We cannot have the faith to walk on
water until we get our feet wet first by walking through our
adversities"

Being a military
brat, I grew up on military bases all the way through high school. I
have heard many true stories of men who fought in the Vietnam
War; how they would be in a fox hole with someone who claimed that
they did not believe in God. And later on, they would come under
enemy attack where both of them thought that they were going to die.
The one's who already believed in God would silently pray for God's
protection while the one's who claimed they did not believe in God
were the one's who actually were screaming "God save
me!"
God answered
each one of these men's heartfelt prayers, those who prayed and
those who cried out His Name as a last
resort.
Their lives
were saved for a purpose? Their lives were being changed and
shaped to glorify God to others that
day?
"We felt we
were doomed to die and saw how powerless we were to help ourselves;
but that was good, for then we put everything into the hands of God,
who alone could save us." 2 Corinthians 1:19
God says
that every knee shall bow to Him, and just like those soldiers in
the fox holes in Vietnam Nam who claimed that they did not believe
in Him when they thought everything was fine were screaming
to God to save them during what they felt were their last
moments of their lives.
And just
like those men who thought it was their last day on
earth.
What do you
think we will all do before God on judgement day?
Will we be
truly confident and calm knowing our final destination is heaven and
not hell?

Happen
We were all created to be blessed through
adversity
Once
we understand this simple truth
God
did not say to be thankful for everything
You must be comfortable with your unique
past
Must be comfortable with your past
It all
