IS
HELL REAL?
There is a
story told by Jesus (Luke:16:19-26) about a rich man and a
poor man, both of whom had died. There are many things from
this story that gives us a view of the place that exists for
unbelievers and the place that exists
for believers.
The beggar
Lazarus was in a place of joy and comfort.
However, the rich man was in a place where he was
engulfed in overwhelming agony and grief.
Once we are in one of these two
places we cannot cross over to the other side.
The rich man wished that he had just
one drop of water to bring him comfort, and if possible to let
his brother know that there is a Hell so that he does not end up in
this place of never ending torment and suffering.
How important was the subject of Hell
to Jesus?
He spoke twelve times more about Hell
than He did about Heaven.
