"We cannot please God without
this"
"And
tell him, Blessed is the one who does not lose his faith in me."
Luke 7:23
In
my journey throughout my destiny, I have discovered that we can
not please God without faith.
"But without faith it is impossible to please
him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews
11:6
Some of the
greatest heroes of faith that have inspired me today were
the wonderful men and women that were back in Biblical
times.
"What Is Faith? It is the
confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is
the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even through
we cannot see it up ahead, Men of God in days of old were famous for
their faith" Hebrews 11:1-2 (TLB)
Even though everyone of
these heroes below all had different circumstances and
different tasks to perform,
They all had one remarkable
thing in common, that without it...
Noah would not have built the Ark and
help save mankind from total destruction.
David would not have slain Goliath
and helped save his people from the Philistine's.
Moses would not have delivered his
people from oppression, helped part the Red Sea or given us
the Ten Commandments.
And Joseph would have rotted
hopelessly in a cold dark prison cell...
What is this remarkable
thing that they all had in common that made a difference to move the
hand of God in their favor?
If you guessed faith, your partly
right,
But God's Word teaches
us that faith alone without works is useless and
dead.
So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. You
must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn't show
itself by good works is no faith at all-it is dead and useless."
James 2:17
The one remarkable thing that everyone of
these people all had in common,
No matter how incredible the odds were against them,
No matter how overwhelming the adversities were before them,
No matter how great the obstacle was that stood in their
way,
They all acted out on their faith by being obedient to God for
one reason.
It was not because they all had the faith that they knew God
would bless them for it.
It was much more incredible than that, that was just the icing on
the cake.
It was about a supernatural love affair that they have all
personally experienced that could only come from a supernatural
God.
And the only way that Noah, Moses, David, Joseph and all
the others could even begin to show God just how incredible His
love is to them,
Is by showing their great love to Him by their obedience to
His Will by glorifying God in everything that
they say and do.
"Everything comes
from God alone, Everything lives by his power, and everything is for
his glory." Romans 11:36 LB
Because no matter what obstacles and
problems that were ahead of them.
God knew that they would all faithfully rise above the fires and
ashes of their adversities.
Because they all believed this one incredible thing.
They all knew God's love for them was so great...
That they all believed that He will never leave them or
forsake them one time!
"I will
never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews
13:5
